Early 2024

Star and Samuel met each other through a mutual friend, who told them both, “I know someone who’s perfect for you.” Willing to give it a chance, they exchanged numbers. A few fun and hilarious texts later, Star and Sam knew that they were going to have an interesting dynamic relationship. Filling their early days with dates, dancing, and experiencing local events together, they began to notice a spark between them.

February 2026

After almost two years of dating, Sam took Star out to a romantic Candlelight Coldplay Concert at the Ritz Carlton, in Rancho Mirage. The ballroom was glowing, and the music from the string quartet set a truly magical mood. At the end of the show, Sam led Star to the candlelit stage and casually handed his phone to a stranger for a photo. While getting ready to pose for the camera, Star turned around to find Sam down on one knee with the ring box in hand. Sam then calmly asked, “Star, will you marry me?” Stunned, Star quickly processed the question and replied “Yes! Of course I’ll marry you!” The beautiful moment was quickly celebrated with happy kisses between the couple, and cheers from the people around.

To celebrate, they drove back to Fresh Agave, the exact spot of their first date.On the drive over, overwhelmed with joy, Star asked, “What do we do now?” Without missing a beat, Sam replied with the words she had always waited to hear: “We’ll get married, I’ll move in with you, and we’ll have kids. We’ll live together forever and ever.”

Now, Sam and Star are excited to celebrate the start of their “forever” with family and friends.
